Purchased a brand new Wildfire a couple of month in the past as a enterprise phone however am very disenchanted , firstly i’d have about 900 contacts on my previous XDA and was capable of view by organisation or individual, not so on Wildfire solely by particular person which is of no use particularly with no search choice either. Android 2.2 is meant to have search facility however not completely different view choice launch date seems to vary every time . Battery fairly good approx 18 hrs medium usage. Bluetooth poor, paired with parrott car equipment okay for day or so but won’t join even by unpairing and pairing new, similar problem with bluetooth headset……..any ideas can’t find something on http://www.htcwildfireforum.com help could be appreciated

The Samsung 5700 Spica isn’t available anywhere. Are you sure the dealer who quoted the price even has it?

The best of Androids are still above 20k. I will suggest all buyers to wait for now, let the price come down, then buy models such as Motorola Backflip , Motorola Milestone XT720 , Samsung I9000 GalaxyS ,Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 or HTC Desire.
When you will use these models you will find the real flavour of Android, not only for the OS but also for the excellent hardware these phones come with.
And a last word, I find typing on a touch screen quite tedious, so always look out for touch and qwerty keyboard.

Hi… very helpful article. Now that Spice has announced Android handsets in India, Micromax, Lemon, Karbonn, etc would follow….its a matter of time … Ganesh Utsav ?? Dasera ?? Diwali ?? Economy models will bring young enthusiasts to tasting Android and apps…. Handsets, Tablets, Dual Boot netbooks/Laptops …. Android world exciting …But NOKIA says NO to Android , they have sell Symbian ….Smile …

Lemon has already announced its plan to launch Android way back in June. Perhaps they were the fist one amongst domestic players to announce their entry in this sphere. What I know is that they are soon to launch P1, the Lemon Mobiles’ Android phone. It is an Android 1.6 phone where the ‘P’ stands for ‘Professional’. It is stated to be the world’s first dual SIM Android phone, and will feature push mail, as well as a 400MHz processor.!!!!

Favourite one is not in list Google Nexus One. The one I would probably buy not my favourite but a budget and feature wise pick is LG Optimus One.

  • Rohan

HTC Desire Z is also available now on flipkart.com for 25.8k. Its the best one available in Indian market right now in my opinion. Check it out..
