Spice to launch Android phone this week

Spice is planning to release an Android phone on August 19th based on  QualComm device. It is expected that Spice will launch its first Android smartphone based on Qualcomm’s MSM 7227 SoC platform.This phone was recently released in Malaysia. The  specifications for Spice CSL’s Android phone, Spice MI300 are:

• 114.9 x 56.8 x 12.6mm
• ROM 512 MB / RAM 256 MB

• WiFi/Bluetooth Connectivity
• G-sensor + E-compass + Proximity Sensor
• Android v1.6, upgradeable to v2.1
• Over 50,000 application can be download from Android Market
• GPS Navigator with Map King software
• Anti Theft security software
• CSL Fun Club
• BlueBerry Messenger
• BlueBerry Store
